A Profitable and Sustainable Solution for Dryland Agriculture
To encourage, facilitate, and help fellow farmers to adopt dryland-farming practices by planting agave varieties, which have been historically grown in Mexico to produce a multitude of products, including probiotic-fermented beverages like Tequila, Mescal, Bacanora, Raicilla and Sotol that will provide them with multiple revenue streams while reducing their most expensive inputs.
About us
Ofelia is an Agronomist who spent most of her professional career working at a biotech company as a Quality Control Manager, cultivating microscopic plants. Although she enjoyed very much her work, she always wanted to work in a farm. She was convinced that agriculture, practiced in a responsible way, could provide a solution to global warming by capturing and reducing atmospheric gases. When she retired in 2019, she and her Chemical Engineer husband, Eric, decided to purchase 200 acres in southeast San Diego County, where their new adventure began with regenerative agriculture.
